Henry and I went to Sandy creek this morning. I was able to land two.

face to face with a button buck

I'm back!

First day of bow hunting, fox and 5 deer. Deer were too far to get a shot, however, fox could have been toast if I wanted to waste an arrow.



Second day, two hours in the tree stand was enough. I got down and face to face with a doe and a button buck. I pulled out my digital camera and shot the buck.

Sunday, it snowed all afternoon.

Cold weather and snow didn't stop this bunch from sledding. Thoughts of a hot polenta dinner on the stove, kept these guys warm and hungry.

Sunday brought about 8 inches of snow. Too much to shovel, so I had to get the snow blower out.
